    got my violin books back at last!!! haha. so hope to have some serious practising done today. i've resolved to be a better violinist. haha. yea. one of my new year resolutions. haha.
    school starts in 3 days. sigh. hope i'm up to it. i bet i'm going to be super busy once school starts.
    now my pastor asks if i want to join the church band. playing the violin la. so i'm still thinking about it. think it's going to be fun. but only if i can keep up in school. coz there's practise every friday almost immediately after school. and if you can't keep up in school then you have to stay back every friday for remedial. so yea. have to see la.
    starting a new friendship bracelet. don't know what happened to the last one. haha. just doing it for fun la. haha. oh yar. my maid sent us a letter from singapore and it's so sad la. miss her so much. almost cried when i read it. haha.
    finally managed to open up all the boxes. my mom nearly killed us yesterday with all the unpacking but at least i got my stuff back. and i also found out that my dad has a mountain of clothes. esp ties la. i had to hang them all up yesterday. his whole wadrobe is jam packed full of clothes. most of them for work only. practically all of them la.
    haha.woke up at 5.55 am today and everybody was still asleep. probably coz almost all of them stayed up last night playing the computer or watching the television. i rmb my dad was watching the tv quite loud coz i was complaining to myself that i couldn't sleep. haha. but i still fell asleep anyway. haha.
    then i woke up rite, i read my book for a while. like half an hour. and still nobody was awake yet. so i decided to go and eat breakfast. haha. in peace and quiet finally. it's one of those rare times when i get to be by myself and enjoy my meal in peace. usually it's like"hurry hurry! you're going to be late! quick eat faster!" so yea. today was like dao cha. man man lai. haha.
    now my favourite channel on the tv is animal planet. haha. really wierd rite but i like alot of the shows there and it's really nice to watch animals la. haha. i'm going to develop a new love of animals by the time i go back to singapore. haha.
    also, managed to put in a reasonable amount to work yesterday. did science. had to learn about alkenes, alkynes,esters and alcohols. haha.
    one thing i learnt:chem is quite fun actually. :D
